I'm walking 150 miles in September

150 miles for Dementia UK

Dementia UK are running a "Walk 30 miles in September" challenge to raise money to help families affected by dementia. Our Dad has quite advanced dementia so we've decided to join in the fundraising. To add some extra challenge (and make things easier to track) we've decided to use our smart watches to aim for a minimum of 150 fitbit miles each over the month. So we'll need to top our step count up to an average of 5 miles per day.

We would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!
