Dive In for Dementia: Our November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK

Me, Megan and Erin are taking the plunge this November to support Dementia UK, a cause that means a lot to our familyfollowing the loss of our dad/grandad to Lewy body dementia.
Lewy body dementia is a challenging and devastating condition, but the support provided by organizations like Dementia UK makes a world of difference to families navigating their darkest days. To give back and help other families receive the care and guidance they need, the three of us are diving into the November Swimming Challenge.
We have set ourselves some serious targets for the month. We will be swimming a combined total of 40 kilometers:
  • Erin & I will each be swimming 10k
  • Megan is doubling down and taking on an incredible 20k challenge
That is a lot of lengths and plenty of determination!
Every single pound raised goes directly to Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nurse charity. Their Admiral Nurses provide life-changing support, advice, and comfort to families facing dementia, ensuring that no one has to go through it alone.
We know times are tough, but we really appreciate any support you can give us for this great cause. Whether it’s a donation or sharing our page it means the absolute world to me, Megan, and Erin.
