I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK

This June, I'm walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

‘Moving for Mave’

My mum passed away on 1st June 2024. 
She had some health problems but also Dementia which made life challenging but also rewarding.
As I also lived with my mum I experienced the whole journey with her so I know firsthand the struggles of both living with and caring for a loved one with Dementia. I had fantastic support but had to fight for help at times which made everything more stressful than it should or could be. That’s why I support this charity and hope to make life a little better for families facing a similar situation  xx
