Remembering Dad, fundraising to support Dementia Care
Monday 13th AprLosing my dad to dementia has been one of the hardest experiences of my life. Watching someone you love slowly lose their memories, their independence, and parts of who they are is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it impacts entire families. It brings emotional strain, confusion, and heartbreak, often over many years.
My dad was more than his illness. He was kind, funny, and full of life. Even as dementia took hold, there were still moments of him shining through—moments I’ll always treasure.
That’s why I’ve decided to create this fundraiser.
I want to honour his memory by supporting those who are going through the same journey right now, and to help fund research that could one day prevent other families from experiencing this pain.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much. And if you can’t, simply sharing this page helps more than you know.
Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for your support 💓
