In January 2023, we lost our mum to dementia at the age of just 66. She was fucking awesome and we miss her everyday. 

It’s a cliche, but watching someone you love be taken by this cruel disease is heartbreaking, and no family should have to face it without support. 

In her memory, @stephjatkin and I are taking on a sponsored 50-mile walk this January to raise funds for Dementia UK. 50 is the official figure, but we are aiming for 150-200 over the course of the month! This challenge is our way of honouring our mum and doing our very small bit to help to ensure that other families receive the specialist nursing support they need during some of the hardest moments of their lives. 

Any donation, no matter how small, will help make a real difference - thank you for supporting us and for helping to fight dementia!
