We are taking on Dementia!
In 2023, my family was affected by a devastating diagnosis when my mum was diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia, which was later confirmed to be Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA). This rare form of Alzheimer's typically affects people between the ages of 50 and 65, and it has been incredibly difficult for us all.
To support families facing this awful disease, a group of close friends and I are undertaking a charity walk. On October 11th, we will walk the 11 miles from Kings Langley Football Club to Wealdstone Stadium. We're not seasoned runners, but we are passionate football fans, and this is our way of doing something meaningful.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and will go directly to helping families impacted by this disease.
Thank you for your support!
