I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK
This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

62 miles for dementia 💜
Sunday 20th Sep62 Miles for Dementia 💜
This October, we’ll be taking on a 62-mile dementia walk in memory of our grandparents and for my mum.
Dementia is something that is incredibly close to our hearts. We’re also proud to work in the care profession, so we’ve seen first-hand the devastating impact this illness can have — not only on the person living with dementia, but on their loved ones and the families who care for them.
There is something truly heartbreaking about watching someone you love slowly change, day by day, and feeling like parts of the person you knew are disappearing. Dementia can bring so much sadness, uncertainty and fear, and no family should have to face that journey alone.
We’re taking on this challenge because we want to help raise awareness, support those living with dementia, and raise money to help families who desperately need support during what can be one of the most difficult times of their lives.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will mean so much to us and will help make a difference to people affected by dementia.
62 miles. One month. One cause that means everything to us. 💜
Thank you for supporting us, sharing our fundraiser, or simply cheering us on along the way.
For our grandparents. For my mum. For every family affected by dementia. 🥾💜
