I'm running 100K for Dementia UK

This February, I'm running 100K and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Hi everyone,

I’ve only just realised I can send updates!  

Thank you all so much for your donations and your lovely
Messages. It means a lot to me and my family ❤️

I’ll try and respond to everyone separately but I wanted to put a message here too in case it takes me a while to get back to everyone. 

Dad has had a tough few weeks with an infection but he seems to have stabilised now, albeit he’s very weak and may not walk again. 

Despite being busy in work and life, with two small children, running 100k has been a walk in the park compared to what he’s going through. I’d run 500k per month in the wind, rain, and snow to have my dad back for a day 💔
