I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge
I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Monday 8th SepI’m fundraising for Dementia UK in memory of my late grandma, who lived with dementia.
I know first hand that Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed — it touches the whole family. Sadly Grandma passed away in 2011 before Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses began supporting Plymouth residents. These special people provide vital care and support so no one has to face it alone.
Dementia affects nearly 1 million people in the UK — and behind every diagnosis is a family doing their best to cope.
Dementia UK rely on donations to continue their vital work. By donating, you’ll be helping other families, families like mine, get the support they need during one of the hardest journeys they’ll ever face.
