I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge
I’m walking 75 miles with my dogs, Tommy and Ella, this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
Sadly, we lost a close family member in February to Dementia, and on Friday the 19th of September 2025, my father was formally diagnosed as well.
This is a very devastating illness to witness, and it robs those nearest and dearest to you of memories, personality, and independence. Dad no longer recognises his wife of 55 years, his children or his grandson, and this has happened in less than 18 months.
I’m fundraising for Dementia UK to help provide vital specialist nurses who support families like mine through the hardest times. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring comfort, guidance, and hope to those facing this cruel disease.
