I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge
I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you!

Half way through (nearly)!
Monday 13th Oct We're nearly half way through the challenge so thought I would take time to reflect on why this is so important and means so much. When my Daddy was diagnosed I knew it would be hard, however I don't think it really sunk in for a while just how cruel, and hard this awful disease can be. Not only to those living with alzheimers (or any other type of dementia) but for those around them...those who love them...who care for them day in day out. That's why charities like this are so important. To provide the support, advice and guidance to help families navigate the challenge ahead. Thank you dementia uk and to everyone who is taking part or donating. From the bottom of my heart. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
