I'm running 100K for Dementia UK
This February, me and mum are running 100K in memory of Auntie Janet 🩵
We are raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Day fifteen
Wednesday 26th Feb 100k completed 🎊🎆
Day fourteen
Monday 24th Feb 9k in the bag today with a 5k PB...somehow. It was nice to see progress rather than just 'clocking miles'.
Day ten
Tuesday 18th Feb We ran a difficult cross-country 11k yesterday (probably by choosing the wrong path!) which definitely did not do my knees any favours. Struggled with 6k today after not recovering enough from yesterday due to working a night shift and barely sleeping after. Hoping I'll feel better in the morning.

Friday 14th Feb Grateful for just completing 6k today after yesterday's 10.
Day seven
Thursday 13th Feb 10k today! A challenging run across the sand dunes. 42k down, almost halfway.
