I'm walking 60 Miles in June for Dementia UK
This June, my Mum, her friend Liz and I are walking 60 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. We're taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
We are doing this in memory of my Uncle Laurence (my Mum's brother) who tragically lost his life at the beginning of this year.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Throughout the month of June, I will ensure to regularly update my page to inform my sponsors on how I got my steps in each day as well as recording and tracking my progress of walking 60 miles!
Thank you!

Wow!
Monday 18th May After only sharing my page last night, I am overwhelmed with people's kindness and very generous donations! So, so grateful!I will re-share the page closer to the time we start the walks. I know some people have asked me if they can wait till pay day or closer to the time, that's absolutely fine! We are just so grateful for any donations and/or shares of the page and we really appreciate your support.
Happy Monday!
Thanks,

Sunday 17th May Hi! Welcome to my fundraising page :)I'll be sharing this with my family, friends and colleagues as well as on my socials. I'm looking forward to starting this challenge and all for a good cause.
On the 19th January 2026, my Uncle Laurence passed away after being in hospital for a few months. We are all heartbroken.
My Mum, Liz and I are taking on the challenge to walk 60 miles in June. We have created a Team for fundraising which my Mum has appropriately named "Dignity" in memory of my Uncle Laurence.
Any donation or even share of my/our page would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for visiting my page and taking the time to read.
Chana x
