I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

That personal connection is really important to include it explains why you’re doing the 30 miles, rather than it feeling like a generic fundraiser. I’d make it warm and personal without making it too heavy. Something like:

This September, I’m walking 30 miles for Dementia UK to help ensure that no family has to face dementia alone. 💙

This challenge is incredibly personal to me. Both my Nani and Baa have been affected by dementia, and it’s incredibly difficult to watch two such special, strong and amazing women who have loved me, shaped me and been such an important part of my life be affected by this cruel condition.

Dementia doesn’t just affect the person living with it; it touches the whole family. That’s why I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for Dementia UK, whose specialist Admiral Nurses provide families with practical advice, emotional support and someone to turn to when things feel overwhelming.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, genuinely makes a difference. £33 could fund an hour of support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse for a family in the community.

I’ll be walking my 30 miles throughout September, thinking especially of my Nani and Baa with every mile. 💙

If you’re able to donate or simply share my fundraiser, I would be so grateful.

30 miles. Two incredibly special women. One cause very close to my heart. 💙
