New Record

Wednesday 19th Nov
Your encouragement and Sponsorships are all the encouragement I need as I continue strive to complete my challenge by this coming Friday has which lead to a new session record of 50 lengths (1250m) today.

Week 2 Done

Saturday 15th Nov
Afternoon All

Week 2 now complete and  10,800m of the 15,000m challenge swam.

My aim now is to break the 15,000 Barrier this coming  Friday, with Ida witnessing in person, before We drive over to The Reggae Weekender in Hemsby.

November still won’t be done when we return  so I will sbe back in the pool the following week adding more to my distance as I want to make sure you all know how grateful I am for your encouragement and kind donations to Dementia UK!

Thank You AND SOME

Distance Update

Wednesday 12th Nov
Latest update after 1100m swam yesterday out of respect for 11/11. (Saturday 8th not included in proof as I stupidly left my watch at home)! Massive Thanks again for your donations to Dementia UK and being integral in making me push to do more than 15,000 m in November

First Session Done

Saturday 1st Nov
And so it has begun - Day 1 and 950m of my challenge to swim 15,000 metres during November in memory of “The Mother-In-Law” and “Grandad Jock” and for anyone whose family has been affected by Dementia.

Massive Thanks again to those special people in my life who have kindly sponsored my efforts

I guarantee I will achieve my target and it is because of your generosity that I am currently 66th on the table of fund raisers for the U.K and that every pound you have donated “will” help more families facing Dementia receive the specialist support they need.

Why The Dementia 15k Swim Challenge

Thursday 16th Oct
I decided to sign up for  this challenge on today (16/10/25) as it is the day after the third Anniversary of My Mother-In-Law passing from Dementia.

It is also special for me to take this challenge in memory of My Grandad Jock McGall and Keith Frederick Andrews (Ceema Technology Ltd Founder) and I dedicate all my efforts as a small in memory Thank You for all three of them touching and enriching my life so significantly

Thank you to my Sponsors
