Thank You 

I just want to take a moment to thank my friends and family who have found the time to donate to this cause. As many of you know, I’m doing this in honour of my Mum. 

Your kindness and support mean more to me than words can say. Every single donation — big or small — truly makes a difference, because every penny counts.

My Mum was our foundation. She battled this disease with incredible strength for such a long time, and I carry her spirit with me every day. If through this, I can help even one person get the counselling, care, or support they need, then it will all be worth it.

My original goal was to raise £250 for Dementia UK by the 30th of November — but seeing the love and generosity from everyone has already made this journey so special. 

I have to admit, I’m aching quite a bit today (three days of swimming in a row will do that!), to someone with arthritis but I’ll keep pushing on, for Mum and for everyone affected by this cruel disease.

THIS ONE IS FOR MY MUM

“I’m doing this swim in honor of my mother. We lost her to this horrific disease, and I want to help other families who have been through what me my Brother and Sister have faced. This illness changes lives forever, and I know firsthand how deeply it affects everyone involved. By taking part in this swim, I hope to raise awareness and support for those still fighting, and to honor the strength and love my mum gave us.”
