Friday 16th Jan On Wednesday we said our final goodbyes to our darling Nanny. We want to thank everyone that has sponsored us and donated at Nans funeral, we are so grateful for all the kindness. Dementia is a cruel disease that sadly took our Nan over and over again the past 3 years. Share

This January, we’re walking 50 miles to raise funds for Dementia UK — helping ensure no family has to face dementia alone.

For more than three years we watched dementia slowly take our Nan from us. It’s a heartbreaking illness where you feel like you lose the person you love many times before you finally say goodbye.

We’re taking on this challenge to honour her and to support Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. Your donation — big or small — truly makes a difference. Just £33 could fund an hour of support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family in the community with practical guidance and emotional support during the most difficult moments.
