💜 This September, Amari is walking 30 miles to raise money for @DementiaUK - in honour of her Nani, and for every family facing the heartbreak of dementia.

Amari lives with her Nani, who has vascular dementia.
This devastating disease takes away memories, independence, and connection - piece by piece.

Every day, Amari witnesses the struggles that come with it - the confusion, the sadness, the changes.
She doesn't fully understand why Nani forgets things, gets upset, or sometimes seems far away.
But she feels the silence. The sadness. The shift.

She may not have all the words yet, but she feels everything.

💭 “Why is Nani sad?”
💭 “Is Nani poorly?”
💭 “Can I be the doctor and make her better?”

With cuddles, songs, and pure love, Amari comforts her Nani - even when her own little heart is quietly breaking. 💔
She’s only 3 - but already, she’s a carer, a comforter, and a little warrior for love.
