I'm taking part in the November Swim Challenge
I’m taking part in the November Swim Challenge for Dementia UK and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
I hope you will consider donating. Like many people, I have experienced first hand the devastating loss of dear ones to this cruel disease. I have also been in awe of the support that family and friends provide to care for those they love.
£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Yay…I did it!
Sunday 30th Nov I reached the 15km target. Big thanks to all the lovely people who sponsored me. I really appreciate it. And I will continue swimming. Proud of myself and glad it gave me the chance to think about my lovely mum. Share
On the home straight
Monday 24th Nov Well, here I am in the last week of the challenge and I have now swum 12km. Just 3km left and I am done. I do think I will keep up this swimming thing. It has been an enjoyable challenge.
