I'm walking 30 miles in September
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
My lovely Mum was diagnosed with early onset Dementia in 2021, however her diagnosis was back dated so officially she’s been advancing through the disease for 7 years. It’s brutal to see her disappear a little everyday and this is why it’s so important to raise funds to provide vital support, something I’ve accessed over the years as we navigate each new phase with Mum x
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Saturday 20th Sep Just completed a 5 mile walk to get my miles up….halfway there!

Wednesday 17th Sep It was a slow start for me as I was poorly but now have 10 miles under my belt so a 1/3 of the way there! 🩷 Share
