I'm running 100K for Dementia UK

This month I'm running and walking 100km to raise  funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. I would appreciate your support - even if you can only spare the cost of a coffee or two. Every penny helps this charity's amazing work.

Dementia UK's team of Admiral Nurses provide help when families need it most. As we know, dementia can be devastating for a whole family, not just the sufferer. All too often people are left to cope alone with mounting and increasingly challenging situations.

Dementia UK helps to ensure that no family faces those challenges on their own. Their team of nurses has the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems.

They work in local community services, GP practices and NHS hospitals, care homes, and hospices. They also run the charity's Dementia Helpline and clinic appointments - virtually and in person.  Your donation, big or small, will make a difference.

Just £8 covers the cost of providing support for two families contacting the Helpline and £33 would allow a specialist nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community.
