I'm knitting everyday in November for Dementia UK

This November, I'm taking on the Dementia UK November Knitting Challenge by knitting every day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone.

Dementia affects millions of people, changing lives in ways that can be overwhelming and heartbreaking. That's why I'm supporting Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity. Their Admiral Nurses provide expert advice, practical support and compassionate guidance to families when they need it most.

Just £33 could fund a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour supporting a family, helping them understand their options, cope with difficult situations and feel less alone.

My amazing and wonderful 2nd dad John washing by dementia like a ton of bricks. It didnt come slowly. He had a TIA overnight and went from forgetting his keys to barely knowing where he was. 3 years and he's non verbal and in a carehome having to be fed. He doesn't know any of us. He's 73. It's heart breaking. He had so many plans with my mum for cruising round the world and was a fit and healthy man. 
Noone deserves to have dementia. It's cruel and frightening.  It affects everyone around them too as we lost john over and over again eith the vague looks he'd give us each day. 
Wemust find a cure.
