💜 Walking 62 Miles for Dementia UK – In Honour of My Grandma

This October, I’m taking on the 62-mile challenge (and no, not on a golf course!) to raise vital funds for Dementia UK, a charity close to my heart.

I’m doing this in memory of my wonderful grandma, who we had to watch suffer through the cruel reality of dementia. It’s a heartbreaking disease – one that slowly takes away the person you love, piece by piece. Watching her go through that changed me forever, and I want to do something meaningful to help others facing the same battle.

Every mile I walk is for her – and for the countless families affected by dementia every day.

Dementia UK provides specialist Admiral Nurses who support families like mine through the toughest times. The money we raise will help them reach more people, offer more support, and make sure no one has to go through this alone.
