We're doing The 36 Hole Challenge for Dementia UK
We're taking on The 36 Hole Challenge and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
£19 could pay for the telephone costs of five families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support.
£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
**We have opted out of using Golf Buggies for this challenge. The course is 6 miles of walking roughly and to complete 18 holes, we will complete two laps. That’s 12 miles / 20 kilometres of walking, alongside playing 2 full rounds of golf.
We have chosen to do this to ensure this challenge is as physically demanding as possible to reflect those who are effected by the trials and tribulations of Dementia.
We aim to start at 8am on 28th August and stop for lunch around 12:30. Continue again at 15:30 and finish around 20:00.
