I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK
This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.
Thank you!

Mum, Dementia and me
Thursday 1st OctThis October, I’m taking on the Dementia UK 62-mile challenge for my beautiful mum, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. 💔 Watching your mum, the person who has always been there for you, slowly change because of this horrible disease is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face. There are days when it breaks my heart, and days when I just wish I could take it all away from her. I know every mile is going to be tough, but I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other because every step is for my mum. ❤️ I’m doing this to raise awareness, to help other families facing the same heartbreaking journey, and most importantly, for my mum — because she means more to me than words could ever explain. If you can donate anything, no matter how small, it would mean the absolute world to me and help Dementia UK continue supporting families like ours. ❤️ xx
