I'm taking on the October Dog Walking Challenge

I’m walking 75 miles with my dog this October and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

In loving memory of my dad, who passed away last year after battling dementia in his final years. He was the most caring, patient, kind, and generous person I have ever known. I wish he were still with us, and I feel we missed him long before his physical departure, as dementia took him from us gradually and painfully. I wouldn’t wish this slow, heartbreaking process on anyone—it’s a terrible ordeal for both the loved ones and the person suffering. He would never have wanted us to endure such suffering. Today, I humbly ask for your support along with Nerys 🐶 as we participate in a walk 🏃👣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿this October. Our goal is to raise enough funds to help those affected by dementia receive the support they need through Dementia UK.
