How do I sign up?
To sign up for the challenge, register here.
When you register, your fundraising page will be automatically set up for you.
Where and when is the challenge?
This is a virtual challenge so you can do it throughout August at a time that best suits you. You can do it in your local area, park or gym. You can do it together with your colleagues, friends and family.
Is there an entry fee?
No. Taking part in the MKS Movement Challenge for Dementia UK is free!
Is there a fundraising target?
There is no fundraising target for this challenge – we just ask you to raise as much as you can for families affected by dementia.
Can I raise money offline with a sponsorship form?
You certainly can. Simply download a sponsorship form here.
How can I send in sponsorship money I’ve collected offline?
The easiest way to send cash donations to Dementia UK is by donating to your online fundraising page. Alternatively, you can:

Please email corporate.partnerships@dementiauk.org for your supporter reference number.
Send in a cheque made payable to Dementia UK. Enclose a note including your full name, the email address that you used to register with, and an explanation that you raised the money for the MKS Movement Challenge. Post it to us at:

How do I keep track of how many kilometres I've done?
Strava is a free, easy to use app that can track your miles throughout August. We highly recommend downloading it for this challenge. You can request an MKS Movement Challenge tracker from corporate.partnerships@dementiauk.org, which you can use to tick off your kilometres.
