I'm making Time for a Cuppa at Westcroft
On the 31st of May we are hosting Westcroft’s 2nd time for a cuppa event to raise vital funds for a cause close to our hearts, dementia UK. By the time you’ve made your brew, another person in the UK will have developed dementia. We know firsthand the impact that dementia has on the person themselves and the people around them. Supporting someone with a dementia diagnosis can be incredibly challenging, which is why it is so important that support is available.
Our Time For A Cuppa event is an opportunity to raise money for the incredible charity, whilst creating new memories with your loved ones here in the home. We invite you to bring in a treat to share (we will also be providing some amazing cakes and drinks) and come and spend time with your loved one. We usually have a great family turn out for this event, and this years theme is ‘National smile day’ so we will be making and spreading smiles the whole day through! ☺️
Donations can be made using the link in this post and will be printed out in the home on the day of the event, we cant wait to see you there! Let’s raise some incredibly important funds for such an incredible cause, whilst making some memories with some incredible people ❤️
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £21 could pay for the telephone costs of four families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support. We are so grateful for any support you can give.
