I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Saturday 27th Sep
27th September - 38 "deliberate" miles done 😁 and over the month those miles have mostly become easier.  I had a couple of days when my foot wasn't joining in and, unfortunately, my stupid gallbladder decided to act up 😳
All seems under control again now, and I intend to keep on 'measuring a mile' until the end of the month.
Thanks very much for those who have shown me support and also donated to this cause.

So..
I have walked in Sun, wind and rain.
And now my knees are flipping sore 😞😏

Day 9 mile 9

Wednesday 27th Aug
Another year - another sponsored September.
Not done anything for a while so going for the "deliberate" walk - a mile a day in September.

On to Day 9 - and today's was my "hardest" yet - had to get up early to get it in before a full day at work and then off to give blood straight after 😵‍💫 perhaps could have planned that better 🤔😂
