I'm walking 30 miles in September
I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.
An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.
Thank you!

Thursday 2nd Oct On the 14th September my lovely friend gave me a new watch, since that time I have walked 67 miles!! Some of these in Dpain, some in France busy busy I have been super grateful to everyone who has walked with me, offered to walk with me, encouraged me and of course sponsored me, this is a horrible disease that takes people away from their families piece by piece so anything that we can do to find a way to slow it down and hopefully one day stop it but also support people today will help. Nearly half way
Friday 12th Sep My target is to ensure that I do a minimum of 1 mile every day, I work permanently from home and it's very easy to sit all day, jump in the car when I need anything or to go anywhere . I have been really trying to walk to the shops rather than drive, walk while waiting for my car instead of scrolling or reading, at the wedding I was at this week I made sure that I walked between accommodation and venue many many times rather than drive, I was lucky to spend lots of time with the baby of the bride and groom so I did lots of walking trying to get him to 😴 , we stopped on the way back from Norfolk today to have a little walk around swaffham and that was after we stripped the wedding venue of all the decorations that we put up the day before. I am doing this for own health, mental and physical but I am doing this particular fund raiser because I think Dementia is such an awful disease robbing us of the people we love before our very eyes! They forget how yo do things they have done all their lives, they forget the people that they love and who love them, we have to find a way to stop this. Please help me by making a donation ShareThank you to my Sponsors
