Walk 30 Miles in September 2026

I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Complete 🕊️ 🩷

Monday 28th Sep
100 miles completed. ❤️🩷

I have now officially finished my Walk 100 Miles in September for Dementia UK challenge 🥰☺️.

I know I’m sounding like a broken record, but this challenge meant so much to me - my lovely Nan suffered from Dementia and we sadly lost her in July.

I can’t explain how grateful I am for the people who have supported me, donated, even just checking in and asking how it’s going - it’s all meant more than you could ever know. The money raised is just a huge added bonus. 🩷💙

I’ve finished the task today with the people who I love the absolute most. These two are genuinely my rocks. The ones I can always rely on and the ones who make the job of ‘mum’ the best in the world.

100 miles done. For Nan. Who will forever be in my heart and in everything I do. 🕊️

Blown Away

Tuesday 1st Sep
I took on this challenge not expecting to raise anything but to raise awareness for such a devastating, life-changing disease and to do it for my Nan. I can’t believe I’ve already met my first target. ❤️ I’m now motivated enough to increase this target a little. The money received can help support Dementia UK by providing nurses and equipment needed to make life a little bit easier for those struck by this awful nightmare.

Nan 🕊️

Tuesday 25th Aug
This September, I’m taking on a small walking challenge. ❤️

I sadly lost my nan to dementia this year, and I wanted to do something in her memory while helping raise awareness and support for others affected by this cruel disease.

If you know me, you’ll know that this is very out of character! I don’t publicly put myself out there or do things like this ever, so sharing this and asking for donations is definitely outside my comfort zone. But this cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I feel that doing something in memory of my nan is worth stepping outside that comfort zone for. ❤️

I originally set myself the challenge of walking 30 miles in September, but I’ve decided to challenge myself a little more and walk 100 miles throughout September instead.

I’m raising money for Dementia UK, who provide vital support to families living with dementia. Every donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and help support such an important cause.

Thank you for reading. ❤️
