My why…

Monday 18th Aug Thanks for checking my page out. Most of you will know that my wonderful Mam has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. It is devastating and continually breaks my heart to loose her bit by bit. She’s still the most loving person I’ve ever met and showers me with love every time we spend time together. She has just the most beautiful soul and I’m so grateful for her. I’ve decided to undertake this challenge to do something positive. If I can help in a tiny way to fund research into this catastrophic disease then count me in. Although I’m trying to sound totally altruistic, this is also for me. To think about my own health, both physically and mentally, which has fallen by the wayside over the last couple of years due to everything that been going on. I’m doing this for all my family, including my Mam, and the hope that a cure can be found for dementia whilst helping fellow families in their time of need.
