I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK
Hello,
Having lost my Mum in July 2025 to complications attributed to Dementia I have decided this May, I'm walking 31 Miles - equivalent to one mile a day and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. For anyone who knows me 31 miles in 31 days is no distance at all. If I reach my target of £1,000 by the 15th May I will double the distance.
I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.
My brothers and I cared for Mum for five years after her diagnosis and it is a cruel illness to see someone suffer with. Please help me help the charity raise funds they desperately need.

I am upping my miles walked in May to 82 which is how old mum was when she passed.
29th April 2026
I said if i reached £1,000 I would increase my miles walked in May. I was going to walk 82 miles (how old Mum was when she passed). I am doubling this and will walk 164 miles in her memory.
