I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Today John’s family will say their farewell’s to a wonderful Father. Thank you to those who have and will support this worthy cause ❤️

In memory of John Dale - Battersea Boy

My friend’s lovely Dad has recently passed after suffering from Dementia. His name was John.  He lost his wife four years ago and was left heartbroken before Dementia took a hold.  John was born and bred in Battersea into a large loving family and was a man of many friends. A staunch Chelsea supporter and season ticket holder, he  followed the Club around the country and Europe attending games.  
He will be greatly missed by his three children who said  their Dad never complained or moaned but whom his children struggled to watch his deterioration due to Dementia.  John sadly passed away from this awful disease on 6 August this year. 
I felt this small gesture was a way of honouring him and a token of my affection for his daughter Ju, my wonderful friend and John’s loving daughter ♥️
