I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Raising money for a brilliant charity

Hi as most of you that know me will be aware that both my parents have dementia. 
Dad was first diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2016 & has had  a slow decline as time goes on it comes with more challenges, but for now still lives at home though I’m not sure for how much longer. 
Mom who was always the carer for Dad got her diagnosis in May 2022 of  Parkinson’s related dementia her health & decline has been much quicker & after a short stay in hospital has been in a nursing home nearly 3years.  
So all help in raising money for the folks who can lend an ear , a kindly voice on the phone  when days are tough & all the other good work that dementia uk does would be gratefully received.
