I'm doing Winter Reading Challenge for Dementia UK

This winter, I'm reading and raising funds to help families living with dementia. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

.I finished Gods of Jade and Shadow last night. It was about an older teenage girl who frees a God of Death from a prison, but she is tied to him giving him life. The two go on an adventure to restore his body (parts removed prior to his imprisonment). Set in the roaring '20s in Mexico and southwest US. I thoroughly enjoyed the book but it illustrates just how much of the mythology I learned was based on Greek and Roman myths.

Fully recommend if you enjoy adventure that also involves growth of one's own character.
