I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

💙 30 Miles for Dementia UK 💙

This September, I’ll be taking on the challenge of walking 30 miles to raise money for Dementia UK.

This is a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. My dad suffered with dementia, as did my nan, so I’ve seen first-hand just how cruel and heartbreaking this illness can be — not only for the person living with dementia, but for the family and friends around them too.

Sadly, so many families are affected by dementia every single day, which is why the work that Dementia UK does is so important. They need all the help and support we can give them.

Throughout September, I’ll be sharing updates on my progress as I work towards completing my 30 miles. 🚶‍♂️💙

If you’re able to make a donation, however big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation will give me that extra bit of motivation to keep putting one foot in front of the other — and, most importantly, will help support an amazing charity and the families who need them.

30 miles. One very important cause. In memory of my dad and my nan. 💙

I look forward to sharing the journey with you, and hopefully seeing a few donations coming in along the way.

Thank you so much for your support.
