We are making Time for a Cuppa
Most of us know someone who has been affected by dementia, a parent, a grandparent, a neighbour, a friend. It is a condition that doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed; it impacts entire families and communities.
That is why we at SPS Fire and Security are proud to be hosting a fundraising afternoon for Dementia UK, a specialist dementia nursing charity doing vital work for families who need it most.
By the time you’ve made your brew, another person will have developed dementia. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference. £21 could cover the telephone costs of four families calling the free Helpline. £33 could fund a specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour with a family in the community, offering practical help and emotional support.
