I'm walking 30 miles in September

I’m walking 30 Miles in September and raising funds for families affected by dementia. I would be grateful for your support.

An £8 donation could cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Tuesday 30th Sep
As we are on the last day of September my challenge has come to a close with finishing up my 30 miles with a 2 mile run this morning.
Not only has this challenge got me back into enjoying walking and running but it’s allowed me time to think about my mum and process some of my feelings. Although mums still here physically I lost her a while ago and visits are tougher than ever a constant reminder of the amazing person I’ve lost to this cruel disease. I love my mum and she didn’t deserve this, I miss her more than I can describe. 
Thank you to everyone that donated it means the world to me that we can support this charity and all they do to help those in similar situations. I hope one day we find a way to cure this disease so no one has to go through what my family has gone through.
