I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

A bit about me

As you know I live, work and advocate for those living with dementia. I work as a registered nurse and manager at a pretty special place (I think) Maple Leaf House Nursing Home in Ripley caring for people and their families who live day to day with the difficulty of navigating dementia. Not only does this mean a lot to me professionally but over the last 12 months dementia is something that has impacted my family personally and I have experienced first hand the stress, worry, anxiety and loss which is living with dementia. Please support my 30 miles in September, to raise money and awareness for Dementia UK who support families and loved ones through the dementia journey.  As little as £75 can pay for an Admiral Nurse to support a family in crisis and help provide vital support where it is needed 💕
