Dementia does not erase a lifetime of laughter, sacrifice, dreams, or love. It does not diminish a mother’s embrace, a father’s wisdom, a grandparent’s legacy, or the quiet dignity that belongs to every human being. These are not lost; they live on in the way we choose to care.

The greatest tragedy of dementia is not the fading of memory ,it is the risk that a person may be seen only through the lens of their illness, rather than through the richness of the life they have lived.

Compassion is the bridge between what dementia takes and what love refuses to surrender.
