I'm walking 62 Miles in October
I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.
An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Our mother worked tirelessly for the NHS from the 60s till she retired. Roll on 17 years and she was struck with both Alzheimer’s & vascular dementia. The devastation it caused our family was unreal. My brother & his family and my family were basically left to deal with a life changing illness with absolutely no support from the NHS - my brother contacted the charity who gave us such solid advice without that i’m not sure what would have happened. It’s been 3 years since our darling mum passed - released from the cruel brutal disease- I now feel strong enough to raise for this amazing organisation . If you can spare a penny please do - I had no idea the impact Dementia would impact a family until it came for ours 😢
