I’m walking 62 Miles in October and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

An £10 donation can cover the telephone costs of two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Dementia hit me hard when I realised by lovely nanny wouldn’t get to see my children  grow up or follow the life that was ahead for us . 
On later visits it took her back to the 1970’s where she would talk about people that she had seen and places they’d visited , talking in the present tense when these friends had long passed before her . 
She was happy in that place , and I was lucky that it was a sad , but positive place for her most of the time . 
18 years ago . Always remembered 🩷
