I'm walking 31 Miles in May for Dementia UK

This May, I'm walking 31 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Another walk done  with kelsie-mai and Noah, was a little later tonight been busy day 
But I managed to walk  1.74 miles .

My dad

Friday 1st May
Im doing this walk to help other family’s . 
My dad was diagnosed  with dementia in February 2025 
Living in wales , his lovely friend Lynne did everything for my dad, but now it’s my turn to take over , was very hard for us to help living 3 hours away, I went for a few of his appointments with different people. But the time has come for him to leave  wales and join us in Bedfordshire This was not easy  for everyone.  But more people can look out for him here, only one person in wales . Lynne I heartbroken  but it was just getting to much for her  she has her mum to look after and her self . 

Here in Bedfordshire I have 2 my brothers and ( sister lives and hour ish away )and his grandchildren all here to help  as wlell as his sisters and brother.
