Walk 62 Miles in October 2026

I'm walking 62 Miles in October for Dementia UK

This October, I'm walking 62 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Why am I doing this?

Tuesday 8th Sep
Dementia is an illness, disease, syndrome, whatever you want to call it which robs people of their memory, independence and dignity, and  leaves their family watching them slowly disappear, piece by piece, day by day.

Dementia needs to be eradicated before many more people have to watch someone they love and cherish fade away.

It's not much, but next month I'm walking a minimum of 62 miles to help raise awareness of the work Dementia UK do,  and to raise funds to help them do all they can to research the disease and support families.

If you can please give anything, even just £1.00, to my fund, that donation might just be the one that helps cure or prevents Dementia taking over the lives of an entire family.

Thank you.
