The 36 Hole Challenge

I'm doing The 36 Hole Challenge for Dementia UK

I’m taking on The 36 Hole Challenge and raising funds so that families affected by dementia get the specialist help and advice they need. I would be grateful for your support.

£21 could pay for the telephone costs of five families calling our free Helpline whenever they need support.

£33 could fund an hour with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse, helping a family with practical solutions and emotional support.

Thank you!

Why I Am Playing 36 Holes of Golf in One Day
Golf is a game of patience, focus, and skill. But today, I am turning it into an endurance test. I am stepping onto the golf course to play 36 holes in a single day. That is two full rounds, roughly 14 miles of walking, and over 300 shots—all to raise money and awareness for dementia care and research.
Why This Cause Matters
Dementia changes lives: It affects memory, thinking, and the ability to do everyday tasks.
Families need support: It is hard not just for the person diagnosed, but for everyone who loves and cares for them.
Research brings hope: Every pound raised helps fund vital scientific work and support networks.
The Big Challenge
36 holes: Two full rounds of golf from dawn until dusk.
Miles on my feet: Walking the course twice will test my legs and my focus.
Your support: Every birdie, par, and even the lost balls will be worth it if we hit our fundraising goal.
How You Can Help
You do not have to swing a club to join my team. You can support this journey by making a donation today. Every bit helps us get closer to a cure and provides real help to families facing this disease. Thank you for your generosity and for cheering me on!
