March Dog Walking Challenge

I'm walking 62K with my dog for Dementia UK

This March, I'm walking 62K with my dog and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Thank you!

Day 31 - last challenge day!

Monday 31st Mar
A walk with Willow and Chris today. Was lovely in the sunshine, Willow had some ball fun, badger set sniffs and said a very loud hi to the sheep! Also saw her friend who is also called Willow! Enjoyed some fuss from Willow's mummy.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, I really appreciate it.  It means so much to me to be able to raise money for a charity that is so close to my family. I have raised a total of £320 and have walked 121kms a very long way for some little legs! Well done to Willow. She has really enjoyed this challenge, with ball fun,  poo eating, stick saving, exploring new walks and having a good sniff of a badger set.
Thank you again for all of your support and donations.  Xxxx

Getting started

Friday 28th Feb
Hi all,
Willow and I  are really looking forward to starting this challenge on Saturday.  Helping raise money for a charity that is so close to us as a family is a honor.  Willow (miniature dachshund) loves her grandad very much, always gets so excited when she sees him and loves giving him sloppy kisses!
My dad means the whole to me, he has always been there for us. It is lovely to feel that I can raise a bit of money to help the charity that is helping my dad and so many other families that are going through the same as us.
Thank you to everyone who can donate, it is much appreciated. Xx
