50 Miles Completed – Thank You!

Tuesday 20th Jan
Thank you so much to everyone who donated, shared my page, and supported me along the way. Dementia has affected many people I know, and your kindness has helped support vital work for those living with the condition and their families.
I’m incredibly grateful for all the support — thank you for helping make a difference. 💙

Miles in Motion 🚶‍♀️

Tuesday 13th Jan
So far, I’ve walked over 41 miles, and it’s been a really good reminder of how powerful small, consistent movement can be. These miles weren’t about pushing through hardship — they were built into normal days, routines, and moments of fresh air.
Some walks were long, some were short, but they all added up. There’s something satisfying about watching progress grow quietly in the background, without pressure, just steady movement forward.
Now, there’s not much left to go. The miles are nearly complete, and finishing feels less like an effort and more like a natural next step.
Onward, one walk at a time. 🌤️

Walking for families affected by dementia 💙

Thursday 8th Jan
Over the past 4 days, I’ve walked over 16 miles to support Dementia UK. Seeing how dementia affects families motivates me to do what I can even if it’s just putting one foot in front of the other.
Every donation helps families get the support they desperately need . X

10K Steps on a Cold but Beautiful Day

Sunday 4th Jan
Despite my step tracker seeming to have a mind of its own today—and wiping my progress thanks to my own setup mistake—I still hit my 10,000 steps. Lesson learned: double-check the settings before heading out. It was a cold day, the kind that makes you question your motivation when you first step outside. But once I got moving, it turned into a truly beautiful walk. Crisp air, quiet moments, and that satisfying feeling of doing something good for both body and mind. Cold, yes. But absolutely worth it.

Walking 50 Miles in January for Everyone Affected by Dementia

Wednesday 31st Dec
This January, I’m taking on the challenge of walking 50 miles for Dementia UK — a cause that is very close to my heart.
Like so many people, I know many individuals and families who have been affected by dementia. I’ve seen how devastating it can be, not just for the person living with the condition, but for their loved ones too. Dementia changes relationships, routines, and lives, and it’s something that touches far more people than we often realise.
By walking 50 miles throughout January, I hope to raise awareness and funds to support this vital work. Every mile is for the people I know, the people you may know, and the countless families facing dementia every day.
Any support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or some encouragement — would mean so much to me. Thank you for helping me support Dementia UK and everyone affected by dementia. 💙
