I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

Day 10- Denehurst again

Saturday 12th Sep
Family walk today with the hubby and my youngest. Loved exploring new bits of the park we’ve not seen. 

Day 3 - Rainy evening walk

Thursday 3rd Sep
This evening i decided to walk to our local village, the rain didn’t stop me getting out after work. If anyone knows me well, I don’t go to the gym and I certainly would rather choice to put my PJ’s on after work rather than go out for a walk but I did and it felt so good. All for a great cause. Around 1 million people in the UK are currently  living with dementia. Me and Noah have captured some memories  this evening on our walk which we have shared.

Friday 28th Aug
I am walking 30 miles in September to raise funds for Dementia UK,  because this organisation means a lot to me and my family. My Nan had dementia which was very hard for those closest to her to come to terms with. Without the help of support groups and many carers at Half Acre residential home this difficult time would have been so much harder.
