I'm walking 30 Miles in September for Dementia UK

This September, I'm walking 30 Miles and raising funds to help ensure no family faces dementia alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity, and would be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £33 could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community, offering practical solutions and emotional support to cope with their loved one’s distressed behaviour.

My wonderful Nan

Saturday 15th Aug
On the 02/09/1922 my wonderful nan was born.  She was the most amazing lady.  She passed on 26/03/2018 after a battle with dementia.  It was heartbreaking to watch her decline. Forget our names but knew she trusted us.  Think she was on a day out when she moved to a home.  Unfortunately for Nan we caught it late on so there wasn’t any medicine that helped.
I would love your support whilst I walk 30 miles during September (ironically her birthday month)…
The smallest amount will help this amazing cause and raise awareness and funding
